Home Science Training Program


The programme was started in the year 1990 with an aim to provide training to the visually impaired girls in routine household chores, The duration of training is 6 months during which girls are taught cooking, washing, stitching, knitting, house-keeping, dressing and personality development. The training makes them independent and confident to become a good housewife.

This is a residential programme and the Association provides free food, hostel accommodation and medical facilities. During the year, 11 girls were provided this training and a total of 229 girls have been trained upto March 2011.
